Introducing our new Project Engineer, David Le
We are pleased to announce David Le recently joined MBB Consulting as a Project Engineer.
David graduated with first-class honours in Civil Engineering and since graduating he has gained extensive experience over a 5-year period as both a site engineer, and more recently engaged as a project engineer across a variety of Victorian Infrastructure Projects in difficult environments.
Since 2019, he has been exposed to Tier One procedures, stakeholder engagement, design management, construction planning and delivery, retaining walls over railroad bridges, earthworks and soil remediation, road and intersections upgrades and multiple level crossing removal projects.
David is a great communicator who works well with other project teams. He is adept at managing competing priorities and completing his scope on time without jeopardising the overall critical path.
David’s work to date has received high praise, and his efforts attest to his ability to focus on the task at hand and deliver results for his clients.
David, welcome aboard! We are thrilled that you have chosen to join our team.
Where I’m from
I was born in Melbourne
Outside Interests and Hobbies
I used to love going for motorbike rides and spearfishing along our coasts. But due to a recent newborn baby my hobbies are put aside for now to spend time with my baby.
What inspired you to become a construction professional
Growing up I used to love building things out of Legos and that slowly transition to helping my dad with small renos around the house. And that passion has turned into being involved in constructing multimillion dollar infrastructure projects.
What do you love about the industry & the work you do?
Being part of a project where you can see the construction being built from the ground up. It still amazes me on how much more work is required below grounds before we can build anything over the top.
What are you looking forward to in 2022
To continue being part of project teams, delivering projects all over Melbourne and to further develop my skills and knowledge as an engineer.
