Project Overview
The Shepparton Line Upgrade will enable modern VLocitytrains to run to Shepparton for the first time, deliver faster journeys andalmost double the number of services on the line.
Split into 3 stages, The project will deliver a significantcapacity leap across the line and enable faster travel in and out of reginal Victoria. Scope includes track, signaling and stabling upgrades to improve the ride quality, reliability and resilience of the line for passenger and freight rail services and will also assist with the introduction of VLocity-classtrains onto the Shepparton Rail Line.
